What is BTL Institute of Technology Bangalore?
BTL Institute of Technology is an engineering college situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is commonly known as BTLIT. The college was established in the year 1997. It was founded with the efforts of B.T Lakshman. BTLIT is spread in an area of about 25 acres. In the early years, the college was affiliated to the Bangalore University. Since 1998, the college is owned by Visvesvaraya Technological University, a public university that offers undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral programs.

BTL Institute of Technology provides five career bachelor programs in streams of Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Information Science and Mechanical Engineering. On the other hand, the college also offers post graduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering, Digital Communication and Networking and Thermal Power Engineering Management. BTLIT gives management course in Master of Business Administration. The college also organizes several college recruitment programs to provide placements to the students. BTLIT motto reads, "In pursuit of excellence”.

BTL Institute of Technology is furnished with many latest facilities such as library, hostel, gymnasium, canteen, wifi, computer lab and transportation. Addition to this, the college takes parts in many sports like Volleyball, chess boards, carom boards, throw ball, table tennis and badminton. BITLT manages various programs such as Development Programs, personality, seminars, technical Workshops and other training programs.
