Burnaby 8 Rinks is the leading ICE sports facility of Canlan Ice Sports which is spread in an area of around 250,000 square foot. It has six Nhl sized ice ranks, one skating rink and one indoor soccer field. Canlan Ice Sports provides several recreational and entertainment activities to all Age group of subscribers. It has seating capacity of around 1000 people. The sports stadium has organized various events such as BC Summer Skate, 2008 World Broomball Championships, Vancouver Canucks training camps and many corporate hockey tournaments. Many Sports development programs are operated by the BC Center of Excellence, Canlan Soccer Academy and Canlan Hockey Academeny. It houses the Thirsty Penguin Grillhouse which provides variety of food on its menu.
