What is Citycell Bangladesh?
Citycell Bangladesh is officially known as Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited and it is based in capital city of Bangladesh called Dhaka. Citycell is a telecommunication company that is headquartered in Mohakhali of Dhaka.
Ownership of Citycell
Citycell is owned by Three limited companies, each owns specific share percentage: Pacific Motors Limited owns 31.43% of share, Far East Telecom Limited owns 23.57% and remaining 45% share is owned by Singtel Asia Pacific Investments Pte. Ltd.
Customer care center
The company operates seven customer care centers in the whole country out of which three are located in Dhaka and one center is located in Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna and Sylhet. Apart from this, Citycell also operates More Than five hundred customer care points spread across the country.
Operational hours of Dhaka customer care center starts from 8:00AM to 8:00PM for whole year including all government holidays. Remaining other customer care centers are open from 10:00AM to 7:00PM for 365 days.

Products
Citycell provides three types of products: handset, modem and routers. Handsets are provided by ZTE, Hisense, Alcatel, Samsung, Huawei and Motorola. Modems are provided by ZTE and Tainjian Company and Router are of Huawei Company.
Brief History
Citycell was founded in 1989 as Bangladesh Telecom Limited (BTL). In 1990 Hutchison Telecommunications Limited entered the market of Bangladesh and incorporated with BTL and formed Hutchison Bangladesh Telecom Limited (HBTL). In 1996, HBTL was changed to Pacific Bangladesh Telecom Limited (PBTL), when Pacific Motors bought 50% share of BTL. The brand's name was changed to "Citycell Digital".
