What is Sait?
SAIT is an abbreviated form of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. It is a polytechnic institution, situated in the Calgary city in the Canadian province of Alberta. The institution comes in the list of province's Top 50 Employers. SAIT is the 1st publicly aided technical institution in the country. It offers a number of diploma and degree courses in various programs including business, technology etc. Southern Alberta Institute of Technology was established in the year 1916. The institution is one of the members of a Canadian not-for-profit organization, Alberta Rural Development Network. Southern Alberta Institute of Technology has over 950 academic and about 1,950 administration staff members. The Weal and the Polytechnic Press are the two on-campus newspapers of the institution.
