History and Expansion of ZTE
ZTE was originally incorporated as Xhongxing Semiconductor Co., Limited in Shenzhen China in 1985 and was renamed to Zhongxing New Telecommunications Equipment Company Limited in 1993. It 1997, it released its IPOs on Shenzhen stock exchange and listed on Hong Kong stock exchange in 2004. After achieving success in domestic markets, the company expanded to international scenario in 2006 and purchased 40 percent of CDMA networks on global scale. It entered into partnership with Telus and opted for Wi Fi Alliance. ZTE had served the customers residing in 140 nations by 2008. Meanwhile, the company had established itself as the largest telecom devices and related equipment vendor.
