Aala Hazrat is the founder of Barelvi school of thought in Islam. He belonged to a family of well known Sunni scholars. He translated the Quran into Urdu entitled Kanz ul-Iman fi Tarjuma al-Qur’an. He wrote on several topics such as religion, philosophy and the sciences.
