My phone a galaxy s6 aprox three months old like any other night was being plugged in to charge, it was left on my leather sofa whilst i went upon my business, on my return there was a strong stench of hot metal it could be described as. I approached my device to find it over heating this device has got so hot it has marked my sofa its was that hot you could not touch it. I unplugged device to mains and waited about 30 minutes to cool. I then tried to plug the charger back in resulting in damaging the charging port, as the small prong within the port must have been soft at the time from the intense heat. I haved followed all of Samsungs proceedures to which has lead me to be subjected to your staff
promising me a 24 hr result upon reciept of me sending not you recieving
and a call back reguarding the insubordination of the member of staff and his manager within the store { manchester arndale }. I have had to purchase a new phone to carry on trading as its the most important part of my business, the so called misguidence from your product liason team has caused me a huge deal of stress and dissapointment,
i was told instore that it was a simple repair, but not under warranty and would cost 75 pounds i tried making the opperative aware its not about the cost and more about the saftey as could of set on fire who knows if i hadnt returned to it when i did, he refused to do anything as he acuused me directly of damaging the phone to obtain a new one
[bearing in mind my device is 12 weeks old }
i have spent aprox six to7 hours on the phone to you people my hourly rate is 25 pounds per hour
also half a day in store with travel {4. five hours }
an have a mark upon the arm of my sofa
this extremly unacceptable behaviour i i certainly would not allow this in my company i could go into more detail, but again time is an issue for me,
i do expect you to get in touch as soon as possible to dicuss this at length an see what happens from here on in
