What is BOC?
BOC is an abbreviated form of the Bank of China Limited that is one of the China's biggest commercial banks owned by the Government of the People's Republic of China. The bank belongs to banking and financial services company that operates publicly, traded in Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) and Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE).

BOC History
The Bank of China Limited was originally
founded by Dr.Sun Yat-sen in the year 1905 as Daqing Hubu Bank, Daqing Bank in 1908 and
finally renamed to Bank of China in 1912. The first Hong Kong branch of BOC was open for business in 1917 and first international branch was established in 1929. According to records of 2009, BOC has presence in 29 nations and territories worldwide.
