I am an italian photographer and I have a lot of your camers and lens (Cps Gold). For work I was in South Africa and here I have bought a Canon 500f. four Is II L nes in a big shop. When I am returned in Italy and contacted your office in Milan to send in waranty the lens for verify the right Af they said am no warranty becouse I have no bought in Italy. So what I must do? I think Canon must offer its assistance to his clients in all the world

Dear Sir: My husband purchased three x Canon LP-E6 batteries from a shop in South Africa (serial number SA72605, SA72591, SA72597) when we were visiting there ten days ago for his Canon 5D Mark III and 7D MarkII. He is one of the owners of a tour company (tropicalbirding.com). Most of our guides use your cameras when we run our photograph tours. However, when he put the 2nd battery in his Canon 5D MarkIII, it did not go in smoothly as if it is a little oversized. After taking it off his 5D, he then tried to insert it into his 7D - it would not eject We do not wish to force the battery out and damage the camera. My husband is therefore forced to leave his spare camera 7D behind and left to guide a tour in Indonesia with only his 5D MarkIII I'm visiting Taiwan at present when my husband is guiding in Indonesia. We contacted local (Taiwan) Canon and they said that they will charge NT$4000 basic fees (about US$135) + labour costs to remedy the situation because the camera is not purchased in Japan We are most unhappy about it it is a genuine Canon battery we purchased. Our Canon 7D serial number is 031021012464. Your kind advise on how we could remedy this situation will be most appreciated.
