The initial name of the company was computer exchange which was later changed to Complete Entertainment Exchange. The trading name of the company is CeX Entertainment Exchange. There are more than 300 stores of the company situated all over the world. Out of these 300 stores, one sore is situated in Portugal, five in Holland, twelve in Australia, thirteen in India, Fifteen in the United States nineteen in Ireland, twenty eight in Spain and 220 in the United Kingdom. The total count of the employees of the company is approximately 2,000. It was in the year 2005 that the licenses for franchising were offered by the company for the first time. The company provides a warranty of twelve-months on the secondhand products, which are sold to the customers. The company accepts both cash as well as redemption vouchers in the form of payment from the buyers. The company also offers 65 percent exchange and 50 percent cash of the product's retail value.
