History
The initial investment for opening the bank was 1.8 million Kuwaiti dinars. The bank was opened on the Fahad Al-Salem Street in a rented flat. The bank was started with only 50 employees. The headquarters of the bank was shifted to Abdulla Al Salem Street in 1964 and it was again relocated to Mubarak Al Kabir Street in the year 1947.
