However, recently - ok within the last year - you have changed the way in which you require customers to progress from the plant areas to the checkout which means navigating a circuitous route through many departments. I understand why you are doing this- after all you want people to be invited to purchase from as many different areas as you can. Could I just point out that for those of us no longer in the first flush of youth having to do this is a test of stamina and aching legs and is utterly pointless when one uses your garden centre to only buy that specific plant and does not require tinsel decorated pots or the other ephemera. You may not care about this because you probably gain, rather than lose, financially but, on the other hand, you should care that some of your customers may no longer return.
