Mio TV is a Pay TV service that has been initiated by Singapore Telecommunications Limited, a publicly traded telecommunication services company in Singapore. The parent company delivers its TV service to the customers through its own internet service network, SingTet. It is an IPTV service that is available 24 hours a day. With the service, the subscibers can access any of their favorite channel and on-demand content. The service was aired first time on 21 July, 2007. In the initial years, the service was called Singtel IPTV and in August 2013, its name was changed to the SingTel Mio TV. The TV service comprises a number of news, sports, life style, education, movies, kids and entertainment channels. MIO TV is accessed by over 400,000 customers throughout the country.
