National Tire and Battery or Ntb is an automobile service center that was setup in the year 1997. It has its corporate head office in Germantown, Maryland, United States and provides automobile parts and accessories like oil, wheels, brake fluid, all engine parts, batteries, wipers, side mirrors and other parts of the vehicles. TBC corporation operates all assets of National Tire and Battery company since 2003.
National Tire and Battery company introduced by Sears corporation with the collaboration of two companies: TA (Tire America) and NTW (National Tire Warehouse). According to the records of 2002, it had Revenue of approximately US$ 425 million and had profit around US$ 60 million. Through its large network of approximately 226 stores, it provides maintenance and repair services and it has ASE-certified (Automobile Service Excellence) professional employees. The auto repair service includes steering and suspension, transmission repairs, morbelt and hose replacement, cooling system and radiator maintenance, electrical system maintenance etc and its maintenance service includes oil change, transmission fluid exchange, coolant exchange, brake fluid exchange, battery inspection & installation and more.
National Tire and Battery company also provides road side assistance policy, product warranty and 24 hours services. It retails vehicle tires of different brands like Bridgestone, Cooper, Falken, Continental, Goodyear, Nitto, Pirelli, BFGoodrich, Michelin, Sumitomo, Uniroyal, Dunlop and Yokohama.
