I was at the suncoast credit union, port charlotte branch Thursday 02/16/2017 around 4pmand sat down with one of your I had questions in regards to your savings accounts and CD's. The accounts I was intending to open were for my six year old. I was told I needed my daughter’s birth certificate; I only had her social security card and passport. I asked your banker what else would be needed from me, she mentioned I only needed my driver’s license, as she added and your GREEN CARD’. Now I happen to be an American citizen, as I did mentioned to her what makes you think or believe I have a green card. I do happen to have black hair, as I am Ecuadorian and Italian. As well I am a business banker, and this type of treatment I received it’s beyond unacceptable. As far as I’m aware I shouldn’t have been treated different, yet be asked to bring a green card, because of the color of my hair or the color of my skin, as it’s consider discrimination. I’m beyond disrespected.
