What is Todays Parent?

Todays Parent originally Today's Parent is a Canadian magazine that is based on children care activities. The magazine publishes articles related to health, education, behaviour and nutrition of children, pregnancy tips, food recipes etc. But specializes in publishing articles based on care of kids between the Age group from birth to 14 years. The magazine's first edition was published in the year 1984 as a 48 page saddle-stitched book and Beverly L. Topping played a Crucial role behind the creation of the magazine. The magazine is owned and operated by Rogers Communications and is published once in a month. The magazine holds a large circulation of over 165,000 copies further which reaches to around 1.6 million readers. The magazine publishes interviews of experts, councilors and others that hold long experience in the field of children care. The magazine parent group also publish two other magazines with titles of 'Today's Parent Newborn' and 'Today's Parent Baby & Toddler' which further holds a large circulation of 112,500 and 133,000 respectively. The magazine had won numerous awards for the content it publishes in its different editions like the gold award in the parenting magazine category from Folio Magazine for the year 2003.
