VIA Rail Kingston, Ontario station is the provider of rail services and controlled by Via Rail Canada. It provides its services in around 448 communities across the country, from Coast to Coast and north to Hudson Bay by operating more than 400 trains weekly on around 12,450 kilometers of track. According to 2012 record, it serves four million passengers yearly at different locations. Its fleet consists of over 390 passenger cars and 76 active locomotives and has around 159 railway stations. The passenger services are authorized by the Government of Canada that covers intercity services, services to other communities and others. VIA provides Three times weekly train services in Eastern Canada in between Montreal and Gaspe, and between Montreal and Halifax on board the Ocean. It has its corporate headquarters in Place Ville Marie, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
