Bronx Lebanon Hospital Phone Number, Contact Address, Customer Service

My daughter was recently admitted to the child/adolescent psychiatry unit at bronx lebanon hospital located at 1265 Franklin Ave. The paramedics as well as me and my child were informed to go on the 5th floor by the prior hospital. When we went to the fifth floor and encountered the staff, they were rude and dismissive. No one took the time to answer questions regarding the admissions process. When I was told that my daughter would have to repeat lab work, even though the paramedic had all of the documents containing her test results; another staff member was yelling at us, some walked away, and totally brushed off my concerns. I continued stating my concerns as a patiular staff member put her body in front of mine forcing me to walk backwards into the elevator. I was then asked in an grandiose manner "what hospital your daughter came from" when I answered the same staff member she then replyed in an arrogant manner " and what they didn't evaluate her huh she was just let in; and why didn't that haospital offer her a bed" ? I then had to remind your staff that my daughter was placed in this hospital because this was the only place that had a open bed available for her. I am disappointed about my experience. The staff on the 5th floor were not informative, empathetic, or welcoming. The paramedics as well as my questions were not answered by the staff on the floor. I am very disappointed with my first experience at this hospital. I suggest that the staff get sensitivity training.

The staff within the child/adolescent psychiatric unit at Bronx Lebanon located at 1265 Franklin ave. Needs more training on how to be empathetic to their young patients. I've never experienced such unprofessionalism at a place that is supposed to be designed to help children and their families.
